Electron Accelerator UELV-10-10
Radiation-technological complex based on multi-electron accelerator UELV-10-10 is designed for fundamental and applied research of the interactions between material and powerful relativistic electron beams.
Applications:
– basic research in physics of interactions between material and powerful relativistic electron beams and hard bremsstrahlung; research in the field of radiation chemistry and biology, high-dose dosimetry, radiative material science and creation of new materials by means of radiation technologies;
– research, development and implementation of processes based on
radiation technologies; semi-industrial implementation of miscellaneous
radiation-technological processes, to include radiative sterilization of medical products, materials and crude drugs; reduction of microbial content of various foodstuffs, spices and food supplements; radiation-induced modification of polymer and other materials, etc.
